Record a SIP call in the wav or opus format

Hi Janus team.

While using SIP plugin we can record SIP call in base *.mjr format.

  1. Is there any way to record SIP call in wav or opus format (or any audio format ready for playing in browser) without any additional conversion?
  2. SIP plugin records peer and user audio in different files by default. Is there any way to record peer and user audio in single file?

I know about janus-pp-rec tool, but its use creates additional costs.

No, we record to .mjr file explicitly. The postprocessing is immediate, though, so getting an opus file out of that is trivial. We don’t perform any mixing either, so you’ll always only get individual and separate files for the recordings: putting them together in a single file is up to you.
