Hi,
I’m using janus 1.2.1 (will upgrade soon) and just noticed that on a vary tiny digital ocean droplet, each participant takes about 1-3% cpu. However, recording to disk takes 10-15% CPU. Is there a reason why pushing the audio to disk takes so long. They are SSD disks and I wouldn’t think bouncing the pcm data to disk would take so much resources. Maybe that’s just how it is, but I thought I might check in if diagnostics are already known.
Thanks for reading and your attention.
