Hi, one of our customers expiriencing some issues with ab, in logs of janus many errors related to queue-in buffer:

```auto
[WARN] Participant queue-in contains too many packets, clearing now (count=5)
[WARN] Participant queue-in contains too many packets, clearing now (count=5)
```

If we lower quality for ab to 1, it works better, but problem still exists. CPU usage isn’t high(~50% on peaks) and adding more cpu cores doesn’t help. Current bitrate for audio set to 16kbps, and sampling\_rate is 48000 now. What can we do to adress this issue?

I suggest what encode performance of opus\_encode isn’t enough on their server and causes queue-in grow.

what I can also mention, what we are using rtp forwarding from ab to streaming, so opus\_encode called in mixer thread and can slow down handling of inbuf theoretically

Are you using an older version where FEC was still being used for inbound packets?

We do that too and it doesn’t impact us.
